This piece of shit is my third one already, I hope these ppl are ready to give me 0 refund for this hassle and its only been about 2 weeks already!!! Doing the same through ethernet works fine but through the wireless G it completely kills the ADSL end. I want a Speedstream 4/5100, not that cheap ass motorola modem, and to hook that up to an Apple Airport Extreme Base Station. My old Speedstream 5100 which has been replaced by this crap ran perfectly for 4 years, YES 4. Recorded with my HTC Touch Diamond held vertical so that's why it is shown horizontal. What I was doing here was adding music through iTunes through ethernet but when I stopped the BS it was doing after and I reopened it, I was on wireless. Then it resumed and it lagged the whole load of it and I couldn't cancel. I have 5 bars signal on the wireless and you could see how the 2wire kills the DSL. The unit has a power setting of 8 for wireless but the unit is very cool, never has it rebooted itself on its own either. All filters have been installed on the phone lines as well, so no need to worry for that I mean it was the same when I had the working speedstream. The service is great BUT THE EQUIPMENT IS PURE CRAP SIMPLE AS THAT. UPDATE: now it drops ADSL regardless of being idle on wireless or not.
